The interface of the program is split into several parts. The left part of the interface shows a tree view which contains several categories. In order to add a new object into the inventory, whether it's a software license, laptop or printer, you could use the graphical toolbar. When adding objects to the inventory, you can specify various information. For example, when adding a laptop into the inventory, you can add a name, manufacturer, department, the location where the laptop is found and so on.

Besides organizing and managing inventories, Codenica Inventory also allows you to print various types of forms, like acceptance forms for hardware purchases. The program's database contains all the data that can be exported to a file and re-used later on. What's more, the application can also work with SQL databases besides the internal one.
